Thank you for choosing Tidal Media Co. for your video needs. Below are the two most reliable methods to loop your custom video on an internet-connected smart TV. We recommend the USB method for maximum reliability in a business environment.

Method 1: USB Playback (Recommended – Most Stable)

This approach requires no internet and ensures continuous, uninterrupted looping.

  1. Download the highest-resolution MP4 version of your video from the Vimeo link we provided (click the Download button below the player).

  2. Format a USB flash drive to FAT32 (most compatible format—do this on any computer).

  3. Copy the MP4 file directly to the root (main) folder of the USB drive. Do not place it inside any subfolders.

  4. Insert the USB drive into your smart TV’s USB port.

  5. On your TV, open the built-in media player (usually found under “Source,” “USB,” “My Media,” or similar).

  6. Select your video file and start playback.

  7. In the playback menu or options (accessed via your remote), enable Repeat, Loop, or Single mode.

    • Common labels: “Repeat One,” “Single,” or “Once” (varies slightly by brand).

The video will now play continuously. Most smart TVs will hide on-screen controls after a few seconds.

Method 2: Direct Browser Playback (Internet Required)

Use this as a quick backup if USB is not preferred.

  1. Open your smart TV’s built-in web browser.

  2. Enter the following URL, replacing VIDEO_ID_HERE with the actual numeric ID from your Vimeo link: https://player.vimeo.com/video/VIDEO_ID_HERE?loop=1
    (Example: https://player.vimeo.com/video/1179038932?loop=1)

  3. Press Enter to load the video.

  4. Set the video to full screen if available.

The ?loop=1 parameter forces continuous playback directly from Vimeo.

Tips for Best Results

  • Test both methods before final setup.

  • For USB: Use a reliable, high-speed flash drive (32GB or smaller is usually sufficient).

  • Restart the TV daily or weekly if playback ever stops due to power cycles.

  • Ensure the TV volume is set to your preferred level and that the screen is in a mode that prevents auto-sleep or dimming (check your TV’s power/energy settings).

  • If you need the video in a different format or have multiple clips, contact us—we can prepare optimized files quickly.
